Agatha Mutale Nkhoma

Chairperson

Agatha is the Zambia Closed Loop Programs Officer at the Non-governmental Gender Organisations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) of Zambia- an umbrella network for Non-Governmental and Community Based Organisations in Zambia, active in championing women’s empowerment and gender equity and equality with over 30 years in existence. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, a Diploma and Certificate in Social work, and Certificates in Speech Power and Comprehensive Sexuality Education. She has worked in the NGO environment for 9 years with a vast experience in managing various Programmes including: Capacity Building of CSOs; conducting youth led research; adolescent girls’ and young women’s empowerment projects; Governance and Social Accountability; HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights projects for women in Zambia; and Gender mainstreaming programs. Additionally, Agatha plays an integral part to the wider NGOCC team by working closely with Zambia Governance Foundation and their network.
